4 Pay Statuses Active Statuses
Duty Type i.e. (AT) provides you information regarding the type duty to be performed. Basic Pay is same regardless of Active Status Entitled to Special or Incentive Pay Dependent on AFSC, type duty & duty location Entitled to Allowances Determined by tour length, dependents, duty location Leave Accrued On orders over 30 days On Annual Training you should be accomplishing your individual/unit readiness training.

UTA – scheduled drill RUTA – drill make up SUTA – scheduled second drill Proficiency Training (PT) Training Period Preparation Assembly (TPPA) Only for traditional guard members Additional Flying Training Periods (AFTP) RUTA – has to be approved in advance and accomplished within the fiscal year of the missed drill TPPA – instructor may want to explain this is not authorized for technicians

6 Pay Statuses Inactive Statuses
Paid at a base pay rate of one day per period UTA/AFTP Maximum Two periods per day PT/TPPA Maximum one period per day Duty type limits number of periods that can be accomplished within fiscal year No Allowances No Leave On Annual Training you should be accomplishing your individual/unit readiness training.
