6 EP Top cap arrival The main part of our work is conditioned by the arrival of one of the major components of our detector: the Top Cap. 7 EP First Phase Date: Mid/End-February 2016 – August 2016
The first phase of the installation consist in setting up the major part of sensors during the installation of the structure (Top Cap+CRP+Drift Cage). With this first phase, we will be able to do an “hot” test of the system of acquisition and the good cabling of our sensors. Cabling process: Sensors Flanges Interface box Racks N. 8 EP Seconde Phase Date: Sept 2016 – end of the year 2016
The second phase of our installation is going to be made at the level of the final tank. Thanks to our box interface the major part of the sensors will be already tested and cabled. 16 EP OPC-UA vs MODBUS We notice that the protocol OPC-UA optimizes considerably the resources CPU. Why? To keep a considerable margin of the CPU usage and thus avoid the losses of information or the errors in the functions of our system of command. 17 EP UNICOS Logic Object-Oriented Design
The creation of a unique standard taking back the logic implemented in the existing PLC (Schneider, Siemens) for the connection between the acquisition and the supervision allows a change of hardware technology. But it also allows to plan a simpler migration in case of change of the software of supervision. Why? - Unify programming in modules National Instruments to return them simpler to debugger and facilitated the maintenance. - Return more stable acquisitions. - Make scalabe installations. 18 EP UNICOS interface This process of re-use of frameworks UNICOS also allows to use a multitude of function already done, for example the visualization of curves, the forcing value or still the display of fault in communication. It also integrates due to its features an annunciator allowing to display events and find their cause. Why? - Several reasons can be advanced: - The simplicity of use - The multiple features - The scalability - Interchangeability of the software of supervision if the CERN decides not to use any more WINCC-OA - Interchangeability of the material(equipment) so national Instrument is replaced by another technology - Communication with other PLC, instrumentations … Where? We can intend in particular to set up this technology everywhere where National Instruments material for acquisition, command or safety is set up. N. BOURGEOIS, CERN – S. RAVAT, CERN - Y. 19 EP UNICOS interface 3D possibilities:
Another possibility introduced by the use of UNICOS frameworks is to set up synoptic more adapted for the project. Why? The project has a multitude of sensors. To return the understanding of these, an interface showing their position allows a better understanding by the user. The interface is also more pleasant, functional and allows to display the information wanted in a minimum of time. Where?
