2. Citing Romeo and Juliet
If the reading is a work of literature that has been reprinted in the collection or anthology, simply insert the year of the original publication between the reading's title and the book's title.

3. Citing Your Choice Novel
Basic Book Format
The author’s name or a book with a single author's name appears in last name, first name format. The basic form for a book citation is:
Last Name, First Name. Title of Book. Publisher, Publication Date.

4. Parenthetical Citations
For Romeo and Juliet: (Act.Scene.LineNumbers).  the period after the parentheses is important. Do not forget it.
Ex. ( ). This would indicate that the material is from Act 1, Scene 3, Lines
For your choice novel:
The first time you use a parenthetical citation for material cited from your choice novel, you include the author’s last name and the page number in parentheses.
For all other parenthetical citations thereafter, you just include the page number in parentheses.
Ex. First time  (Smith 14). Remember, the period after the parentheses is important.
Ex. Every time thereafter  (45).

5. MLA page numbers
Create a header in the upper right-hand corner that includes the page number; number all pages consecutively with Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.), one-half inch from the top and flush with the right margin.
(This is how you indicate to me your page number) – correct this on your rubric
