To provide students with a general knowledge of business intelligence both in principle and practice To develop students’ ability to manage and analyze huge volume of business data using computer software To develop students’ competence to select and apply statistical techniques for data analysis, and provide solutions to business problems

4 Minor Requirements (15 credit units)
Statistical Skills Computer Software Skills Required Courses (9 credit units) CB2200 Business Statistics * MS3251 Analytics using SAS MS3252 Regression Analysis Elective Courses (6 credit units) – choose any 2 courses from the following MS3224 Business Survey Design MS3106 Simulation MS4226 Risk Management Models MS3311 Quantitative Business Analysis with Visual Basic for Applications MS4254 Quantitative Analysis for Economics and Finance MS4224 Enterprise Data Mining MS4252 Big Data Analytics MS4262 Advanced Analytics using SAS * Students are required to take MS3224 if CB2200 is used to fulfill their major requirement

5 Professional Qualification
By completing MS3251, students can take the professional exam to obtain the SAS Foundation Certificate
