Process Integration…. Develop procedures that are imbedded in all aspects of the supply chain Participate in strategic planning and product review meetings Establish goals and objectives for business units and decision makers Incorporate MBE utilization verbiage and 2nd Tier requirements in all contracts Identify process owner and hold them accountable to their goals

First Steps…. Suppliers must register in our Supplier Information Management portal If opportunities exist and the supplier meets the upcoming bid requirements, we will provide their information to the sourcing manager for review Vet all suppliers, review their presentation to ensure all Kroger requirements are addressed Supplier Diversity will attend meetings with a supplier if the need exists Request follow up on the status of the supplier, and projected date of next opportunity

Ability to capture diversity status information at the time of registration Diverse supplier visibility to all buying teams Maintains accuracy of supplier diversity database Centralized location for 3rd party certifications Diversity GFSI Insurance Prior notification of certificate expiration Utilization of dashboards to measure inclusion, supplier performance and savings by Department Ability to measure community impact Online Bid Process
