1 Welcome

2 Come, Ye Thankful People Come
Ambassador Hymnal #144

3 Come, ye thankful people come,
Raise the song of harvest home: All is safely gathered in, Ere the winter storms begin; God, our Maker doth provide For our wants to be supplied; Come to God’s own temple, come, Raise the song of harvest home.

4 All the world is God’s own field,
Fruit unto His praise to yield; Wheat and tares together sown, Unto joy or sorrow grown: First the blade, and then the ear, Then the full corn shall appear: Lord of harvest, grant that we Wholesome grain and pure may be.

5 For the Lord our God shall come,
And shall take His harvest home; From His field shall in that day All offences purge away; Give His angels charge at last In the fire the tares to cast, But the fruitful ears to store In His Garner evermore.

6 Even so, Lord Jesus, come, To Thy final harvest home; Gather Thou Thy people in, Free from sorrow, free from sin; There for ever purified, In Thy Presence to abide: Come, with all Thine angels, come, Raise the glorious harvest home.

7 We Gather Together Ambassador Hymnal #146

8 We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing,
He chastens and hastens His will to make known; The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing: Sing praises to His Name—He forgets not His own.

9 Beside us to guide us, our God with us joining,
Ordaining, maintaining His kingdom divine; So from the beginning the fight we were winning: Thou, Lord, was at our side—all glory be Thine!

10 We all do extol Thee, Thou Leader triumphant,
And pray that Thou still our defender wilt be; Let Thy congregation escape tribulation: Thy name be ever praised! O Lord, make us free!

11 Thanks to God for My Redeemer

13 Thanks for prayers that Thou hast answered,
Thanks for what Thou dost deny! Thanks for storms that I have weathered, Thanks for all Thou dost supply! Thanks for pain and thanks for pleasure, Thanks for comfort in despair! Thanks for grace that none can measure, Thanks for love beyond compare!

14 Thanks for roses by the wayside,
Thanks for thorns their stems contain! Thanks for home and thanks for fireside, Thanks for hope, that sweet refrain! Thanks for joy and thanks for sorrow, Thanks for heav’nly peace with Thee! Thanks for hope in the tomorrow, Thanks for all eternity!

33 Count Your Blessings Ambassador Hymnal #575

34 When upon life’s billows you are tempest-tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost, Count your many blessings—name them one by one, And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

35 Count your blessings—name them one by one;
Refrain: Count your blessings—name them one by one; Count your blessings—see what God hath done; Count your blessings name them one by one; Count your many blessings see what God hath done.

36 Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear? Count your many blessings—ev’ry doubt will fly, And you will be singing as the days go by.

37 Count your blessings—name them one by one;
Refrain: Count your blessings—name them one by one; Count your blessings—see what God hath done; Count your blessings name them one by one; Count your many blessings see what God hath done.

38 When you look at others with their lands and gold,
Think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold; Count your many blessings—money cannot buy Your reward in heaven nor your home on high.

39 Count your blessings—name them one by one;
Refrain: Count your blessings—name them one by one; Count your blessings—see what God hath done; Count your blessings name them one by one; Count your many blessings see what God hath done.

40 So amid the conflict, whether great or small,
Do not be discouraged—God is over all; Count your many blessings—angels will attend, Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.

41 Count your blessings—name them one by one;
Refrain: Count your blessings—name them one by one; Count your blessings—see what God hath done; Count your blessings name them one by one; Count your many blessings see what God hath done.

42 Have a Blessed Thanksgiving!!
