2. What is a uniform? The word “uniform” means “having the same form”.
So a school uniform means that every child in the school wears the same clothes.
In some countries school uniform is normal and most schools have one. In other countries, particularly in continental Europe, the USA and Canada, uniform is worn mostly in private schools.
