STEP 1 - Publisher submits XML-formatted document to ZooBank service STEP 2 - ZooBank “automagically” registers what it can, and prompts submitter to disambiguate as needed STEP 2a - ZooBank registers disambiguated records STEP 3 - After publication, publisher submits updates to ZooBank (Date, Pages, etc.) via same XML schema
