"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. 2 For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. 6 "Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. 4. The Bible says “There is no God.” Psalms 14:1
Psalms 14:1 – “The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.””
1 Corinthians 12 – “I would not have you ignorant brethren.”
“Now concerning spiritual gifts, I would not have you ignorant brethren.”

5. “don’t you judge anybody, ever.”

7. For instance, there are scriptures which command us to judge others… John 7:24 says, "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."

8. In I Thessalonians 5:21 we read, “But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.”
Matthew 7: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. 11. How do you recognize a "dog" or a "swine" unless you make a judgment?

13. Hypocritical or Unrighteous Judging
It is so important for us to get a handle on this area of our lives!
Jesus said in Matthew 7 "for in the way you judge others, you will be judged."

26. Deal As Privately As Possible
Matthew 18: If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother.
16 "But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, …
17 "If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; …

28. These are the characteristics of one who judges unrighteously.

29. Don't Be A Hypocrite
Romans 2:1-4- "You are without excuse, every man of you who passes judgment, for in that you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things. And do you suppose this, O man, when you pass judgment upon those who practice such things and do the same {yourself,} that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?"

30. Rom 2: "you, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that one should not steal, do you steal? You who say that one should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?"

31. Jeremiah 17:9 says, "The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it?"

32. Don't Rush
John 7:24 "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."
John 7:51, "Our law does not judge a man unless it first hears from him and knows what he is doing, does it?"

33. Don't Be Anxious To Expose
Matthew 18 where we are told how to deal with the sins of others, only on the third step do we go public
"If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church;”

34. All to often some of the biggest "mouths" in the church are also some of the biggest "chickens."
Is it because the one who judges unrighteously is anxious to expose those he condemns but he isn't really interested in helping them.

35. "First take the log out of your own eye, then you will see clearly to take the speck our of your brother's eye."
Jesus didn't condemn judging. He condemned hypocritical unrighteous judging!
