Service learning course to engage English and journalism students with the community through the use of storytelling. By empowering residents’ voices, students contribute to multiple understandings of language and narrative.
Service Learning Component
Produce public journalism through multiple genres of storytelling and reflecting on the meaning of narrative
Create public spaces for telling / reacting to stories told about the community
