3. Understanding a flag is like understanding the country and its people, so, in the spirit of the upcoming National Day, we thought it important to break down the meaning of the UAE flag and its colours.

The Flag was designed by Mr. Abdulla Mohammed Al Maainah after he read an advertisement announcing a competition for designing the UAE flag in His design was selected and granted AED as a prize. (A lot of money then!)
