2. Editing for Paragraphs
When to make a new paragraph:
When time changes (next, after, etc.)
When someone new speaks (dialogue)
When it is a new topic (different part of the story, or reflection) etc.

3. Editing for Tenses
The narrating part (you telling the story should be in the past tense-the story already happened)
***Verbs should end in (ed)***
The dialogue should be in present tense.
The reflection should be in past tense.

Make sure to add who is speaking? (my mom said tearfully)
Use inner thinking between dialogue?
Take out empty words? (things, it, something, etc.)
Give my memoir a catchy title?
Add figurative language and sensory details to bring your story to life?
Add imagery?
Give my memoir meaning/purpose?

6. Did I??? Use correct punctuation?
Capitalize first letters in each sentence?
Capitalize I? and others names?
Use complete sentences?
Remember to give my story a beginning, a middle, and an end?
