3 Course Objectives To teach fundamental concepts of electromagnetic wave propagation in various environments including guided waves and free space propagation. The instructor and participants will discuss antennas, waveguides and other devices that use electromagnetic waves to transfer information. Finally, specific simulation tools used to model and simulate electromagnetic devices will be introduced and practiced.
