2 What are they? “If I win the lottery, I’ll travel the world” “I’ll travel the world if I win the lottery.” Conditional Clauses are subordinate adverbial clauses that state a condition on the main clause. They can appear at the beginning or the end of the sentence If they appear at the beginning they need a comma.
