Objectives: Identify and model points, lines, and planes. Identify collinear and coplanar points and intersecting lines and planes in space.

2 Point Simply a location in space Labeled with a capital letter
Has no size or shape P

3 Line Made up of points with no thickness or width
Points on same line are collinear Drawn with an arrowhead at each end There is exactly one line through any 2 points Named by two points on the line or a lowercase script letter (AB or n)

4 Plane Flat surface made up of points
Points on the same plane are coplanar Drawn as a shaded, slanted 4-sided figure Named by a capital script letter or by the letters naming 3 non-collinear points (T, plane XYZ) There is exactly one plane through any 3 non-collinear points

5 Draw and label a figure Points A(1,3), B(-1, 3), and C are collinear, but points A, B, C, and D are not collinear.
