From the Kawartha Lakes in the North Rice Lake in the South Norwood in the East and Millbrook in the Southwest established 1959 The Otonabee Region Watershed is Composed of... 1,951km2 105,000 people Otonabee Region watershed – area of 1,951 square kilometres 8 member municipalities served by Otonabee Conservation NAME OF MUNICIPALITY – percentage of municipal area within Otonabee Region watershed: specific to each % 12 subwatersheds with the major rivers being the Otonabee, Indian and Ouse Rivers Region supports a population of approximately 105,000 residents, with approximately 71% living within the City of Peterborough 8 municipalities

The Otonabee Region watershed is comprised of five distinct physiographic regions. Starting at the Oak Ridges Moraine and Rice Lake at the southern boundary the land transitions from a landscape dominated by agriculture to the rocky, forested lands of the Canadian Shield at the northern boundary, and is interspersed by drumlins, watercourses and wetlands. 9 Our New Logo Legacy elements are illustrated by 3 colours representing the water, wetlands and forests of the watershed region 3 main colours are also reminders of the 3 main watersheds being the Otonabee, Indian and Ouse Rivers Stylized “C” in the design has been retained for “conservation”
