Different rules for enlisting and for officer programs:
Enlisted members do the hands-on-work of the military. Need at least a high school degree.
Officers are the managers of the military. Most officer programs require a college degree at minimum. Some have master’s degree or higher.

27. Are you eligible? Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be at least 17 years old.
Must have a high school diploma.
Must pass medical physical exam.
