3 WHAT ARE THE GOALS The Global Goals are a project from 2015 to 2030, they are 17 goals we hope to achieve by We are the only people to save our planet from the worst problems it faces. We are the generation to save the rest of the world from climate change, poverty, hunger and disease. Irish aid can not do it alone, they need our help .

4 Our Partner Countries We have eight partner countries that Irish Aid support and they are Malawi, Zambia, Sierra Leone, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Mozambique and Uganda. We are the people to help save them from the problems they are facing, we have to help them now.

5 Achieve the goals The only way to achieve the goals are to stop climate change, end poverty and end hunger. Our world is slowly leaving our grasp, we need to help them now . We are the only ones who can help these poor people, we are their only hope. We need to take care of our planet and our oceans. We need to take care of all the animals

6 ZAMBIA Life expectancy: 60 years
Life in Zambia is hard. There are many droughts and floods. Irish Aid has helped the Zambian government to reduce by half the number of poor households living on only one meal a day. Fun facts Victoria falls in Zambia is one of the seven natural wonders of the world

7 Tanzania Life expectancy: 65 years
Irish Aid has been supporting the Ministry of health in Tanzania; the number of children under 5 dying from hunger and disease has fallen from 14% to 6% over the past ten years. Fun facts Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is the highest mountain in Africa .

8 Mozambique Life expectancy: 55 years
Irish Aid works with the ministry of health in Mozambique to support woman having babies ; this has greatly cut down the number of mothers dying at childbirth Fun facts Gorongosa national park is one of the richest wild life refuges in the world.

9 Malawi Life expectancy:63 years Fun facts
Irish aid has helped to provide over 300,000 Family’s with energy saving cookstoves as part of the Malawian government's effort to fight climate change Fun facts Lake Malawi is 600 kilometres long and contains the largest number of fish species of any lake in the world

10 Ethiopia Life expectancy: 64 years Fun facts
Irish aid works with the Ethiopian government to provide food or cash to extremely poor families . In 2015 this helped 5 million people to avoid hunger Fun facts Some of the worlds fastest runners are from Ethiopia.

11 Vietnam Life expectancy : 76 years Fun facts
Irish aid has worked with the Vietnamese government to help remote rural communities to get better health and education . Fun facts Vietnamese culture values caring for families and communities, and living in harmony with each other.

12 Uganda Life expectancy : 58 years Fun facts
The number of primary schools have increased from 2.5 million to 8.5 million in the past ten years , with help from Irish aid. Fun facts Uganda is home to the endangered mountain gorilla .

13 Sierra leone Life expectancy : 51 Years Fun facts
Irish aid has helped the government in Sierra Leone to immunise small children and babies so they don't get diseases and disability Fun facts Sierra Leoneans love rice and eat it with every meal .
