2 Why Motivation for Mission?
Helps God’s people focus on our purpose as individuals and as a church. It seeks to answer these questions: What is the mission of the church? What kind of impact can we have on our community? What does the Bible say about our calling to influence the world? 6 week Bible Study Meets in Host Homes one night per week for 1-2 hours. Flexible weekly meeting dates – Host Homes choose time and day. Host Homes receive weekly coaching and support from Small Group Coordinator. Optional sermon outlines are provided with each lesson. © 2013

4 Church Member Interest Survey
The first step is to survey the church’s needs. Two assessment tools are provided. Promotion Church Member Interest Survey 6 question, ½ page survey Formatted as a bulletin insert to reach the entire congregation © 2009

5 Promotion Church Leader Survey
Pastor selects church leaders (elders, small group leaders, teachers, ministry leaders, etc.) to complete this survey. © 2009

6 Promotion Survey Report
Once completed, the Small Group Coordinator compiles the results and uses to plan for the Church- Wide Campaign. © 2009

7 Recruiting a Small Group Coordinator
Implementation Plan Step by step, week by week instructions for MM, detailing tasks for preparation, promotion campaigns, implementation, and next steps. Recruiting a Small Group Coordinator Recruits small group Hosts Acts as a contact person for Hosts Contacts each Host weekly for coaching and follow-up Keeps the pastor informed Training © 2009

11 Each Host Home receives Leader’s Guide and copies of Participant Guides
Implementation Each Week has a clear objective, stated in the sermon and reinforced during the Study Each lesson contains Discovery, Learning, Practice, and Application Activities Recommended time guidelines for each Activity © 2009

12 Week Seven Celebration
Week Six Survey Participants will complete a brief survey during their Where To From Here? small group meeting. Week Seven Celebration Groups are encouraged to meet a seventh time for celebration and fellowship. Celebration Sermon also available. Debriefing Meeting Pastor will meet with Host Home Leaders to discuss the participants’ survey results and to survey the Leaders. Evaluation © 2009
