3 Water for Good Water for Good is plan for South Australian water security to 2050 The plan incorporates future supply demand scenarios increased diversity of supply adaptability in planning legislative, regulatory, and pricing reform education and community awareness increasing opportunities for competition

4 Water Use Prices As this chart shows, a similar position exists in respect of water use prices charged to commercial and industrial customers.

5 Water Use Prices This chart shows that the current water use prices per kL charged to residential customers. It highlights that for all blocks customers are not being charged the cost-reflective price. Price are an important part of managing how this precious resource is used.

6 Pricing Proposals ESCOSA to regulate monopoly supply
Single non-residential price from 2016 Review all prices Develop third party access by 2015 Explore innovative and competitive arrangements (no date set) Potable water price more cost reflective (Ongoing) Report cross-subsidies transparently in budget (Ongoing)

7 Regulative Proposals New legislation in 2010
Resolve ownership issues in 2010 Remove possible legislative impediment to SA Water involvement in Stormwater by changing definitions Update governance of Stormwater Management Authority
