1 Stock Market Project Final Steps
1. List all of the stocks you currently own on a sheet of notebook paper. Include their current dollar value. 2. Complete your Performance Tracker Look up the prices for all stocks you currently own Complete the bottom section for all stocks (see instructions) 3. Complete check book register, attach all checks to back of check book register

2 4. Summary Paper A. Did you make money or lose money?
Total current value of all stocks you currently own Write Check Book Register Balance (after final PO is entered as a deposit) Subtract $10, from the above total If you have a – number, you lost money, a + number, you made money. B. Write a summary that addresses these questions Which stocks did you make money on and which did you loose money on? What would you do differently if we did the project again? What have you learned about the stock market? Did you learn anything else that you found useful for the future? Do you have a suggestion that could make this project better?

4 Add all Purchases – including original purchase price.
Ex: Original purchase $270.00 5 X 5.60 = 10 X 5.75= 20 X 5.85= Equals: Total Value Purchased $472.50

5 Add all stock sells- including final amount sold
35 X 5.80= $203.00 50 X 5.80 (final)= Total value sold $500.50 Subtract the total value purchased from total value sold – = =28.00 If you have a + number, you made money If you have a – number, you lost money This will not match your profit, because it does not include transaction fees!
