Lesson 1 Aim: to be able to write a complete sentence using correct grammar. Do Now: Identify in your own words what do you think a complete sentence looks like. Definition: A complete sentence is a sentence that begins with a capital letter, ends with a period, exclamation or question mark. A complete sentence always contains a verb, expresses a complete idea, and makes sense standing alone. Examples “ Why was everyone so late today” said the teacher with anger. I know that you would never break my trust internationally. My Highschool was packed with many students. Task: As you read about complete sentences and you saw 3 examples , your task is to come with 3 examples of complete sentences on your own.

Lesson 2 Aim: To be able to identify the consonants and vowel's of the alphabet. Do now: In your own words what do you think is a consonant. Give 2 letters of the alphabet that are consonants. Vowel's: There are 5 vowels of the alphabet. Those Vowels are A, E,I,O,U . Task: Here is a list of 10 words. Your objective is to underline the Vowels and circle the consonants. Lesson 3 Aim: To be able to understand what is a quote , a citation , and how to correctly format a quote using correct citation. Do now: Define Quote and citation in your own words to what you think they mean. Definition: A quote is defined as a statement that is written in your piece of work but you are writing the exact words said from another individual. A quote must begin and end with quotation marks. A citation is giving credit to the person for their work that you are using in your piece of work. Examples: “ I love to perform my job ,of teaching students new things". Said Hina “ No , I will not get up from my seat”. Said Rosa Parks “ My favorite hobby is to play the piano”. Said Amy Task: As you read the different quotes and learned how to write a quote and cite it at the end, you will take about 15 minutes to think of 4 different quotes said by your family members, or you and write the quote down using the correct format and citation.

Lesson 4 Aim: To be able to understand and identify what a Noun is.
Do Now: Define Noun into your own definition. Definition: A noun is a person place or thing. Examples Anthony Alabama Pencil Hina Pakistan Phone Task: As you learned about the definition of nouns you will have 15 minutes to conduct at least 15 different nouns. Please try to give at least 5 different nouns for each category.

Lesson 5 Aim: To understand how to correctly write words if it means more then 1 thing with adding the correct tense form to it. Example: Bus = Buses House= Houses Girl = Girls Payment = Payments Lake= Lakes Party= parties Task: As you read and learned about added the tense to a word to make it more then 1 , you will now have 20 minutes to work on creating your own 15 words .

Lesson 6 Aim: To understand the different figurative language's in the English subject. Do Now: what is a figurative language? Figurative languages: Simile- Comparison of two things using like or as Metaphor: Comparison of two things without using like or as. Alliteration: two or more stressed syllables of a word group either with the same consonant sound or sound group. Onomatopoeia: the formation of a word from a sound associated Examples: Simile She ran fast as a rocket, The boy is slow as a turtle Metaphor- Time is money, Life is a rollercoaster Alliteration- Peter Piper picked a pack of pickle peppers, Sea shells sea shells by the sea shore Onomatopoeia- Boom, Bang Task: We have learned about figurative speech. You have read some examples to have clear understanding with their definition to what it means. Your job is to come up with examples of the figurative languaes. You will have 20 minutes to come up with examples.
