2 Title 1 Grade 09 The Title 1 goal is to help ensure that all students meet challenging state academic Math standards. This class meets for 45 minutes on Academic week only.

3 Title 1 Grade 09 Vocabulary identification-comprehension- application.
Formulas specific to Algebra-Geometry and basic math computation. Review of fraction, decimals, percent, measures of central tendency. Individuals student skill development based teacher recommendations, formal and informal test results, or student request. MCAS preparation May 2018

6 Algebra I Grade 09 Algebra I meets for a (5) 90 minute blocks on academic week and (5) 45 minute blocks on technical-shop week. Students get one grade for Algebra I each of the (3) trimesters. On line test book all students have login and it can not be changed. Odd are in back of book and they should be used for self correction and review. Chrome book All students will have access to Google calendar, google classroom and x2-Aspen. Extra Help and make UP Tue and Thur PM

7 Algebra I Concepts Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of integers Solving multiple step equalities and inequality for a variable. Graphing and writing linear equations Solving systems of equations Function and their families Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of exponents Addition, subtraction, multiplication and factoring of polynomials Measures of central tendency Verbal modeling and applications MCAS strategies and problem solving: Multiple Choice, Short Answer and Open Response MAY 2018

8 Study Skills for Algebra I
Preparation for class: having pencil(s), completing homework, textbook and organization of binder. Test Taking Strategies: Multiple Choice, Short Answer and Open Response, use of reference sheets, calculator. Seeking extra help and/or clarification of concepts: advocating for self. 9 Algebra II Grade 11Concepts
Equations and Inequalities -Multiple Step Linear Equations-SLOPE-Scatter Plots Linear Systems and Matrices Quadratic Function and Factoring Polynomials Rational Expressions Trigonometric Functions -Application Series and Sequences
