1 HE (Heat Exchanger) fuel reactor
Auto Cad “concept 2” multi chamber test reactor LENR By; Dale G. Basgall

2 Heat Exchanger HE series
This is a block of 316L stainless steel that is cut from a sheet 6” wide and 2.5” thick. The end dimensions will be a machined 5”diameter (inscribed) eight sided polygon that is 2.5” thick. This is an elevated end view. Primary consideration as to the design was the cost of material to produce. Type of machinery and complexity of manufacture. To be detailed further. 4/26/2018 Product development (LENR) experimental concept-2

Elevated end view HE Large bores centered within each side flat (8) showing displacement each 45 degrees from center. These are the bores for the glow plugs further in detail. 4/26/2018 Product development (LENR) experimental concept-2

Fuel chamber bores Chamber bores and the thermocouple bores also align and are displaced 45 degrees apart from center. Presently this Elevated Face end view contains thermocouple bores generally diameter thru. There are inner and outer thermocouples. They are located in the outer and inner rings. (16) The fuel chamber bores are .250” diameter generally set and are polished to a smooth finish. (8) In the center is a cooling tube bore of .750” diameter generally set and allows the cooling tube to be securely attached thru. 4/26/2018 Product development (LENR) experimental concept-2

5 HE Dimensions & Centerlines
Mostly self explanatory about hole locations and an indexer will allow the entire HE Block assembly to be machined quickly with nothing more than a hand mill. Please note this is for further experimentation whereas the test procedures happen at one time and are compared in real time with exact same situations. Up to eight variants can be simultaneously tested and experimented with. 4/26/2018 Product development (LENR) experimental concept-2

HE Glow Plug Bore depth depends on glow plug used, machinist set specifications. The Autolite Glow Plug is in reality a DC heater (IR). These are off the shelf for $19.95 and are found on a 1999 Ford F-350. They run in several thousand degree cylinder heads and positioned inside the combustion chamber of a 7.3 L diesel engine. They are high heat energy and controlled by a conventional off the shelf state of the art controller. Total Price for the 8 Glow Plugs is $ and with the controller relays total $ complete. 4/26/2018 Product development (LENR) experimental concept-2

HE elevated side view Position of Glow Plug bores on each flat side of the HE block. The Glow Plugs purchased for this unit are the one that is indicated in the last drawing slide 6. These are locating holes however bore and seat specifications need to be specified by the machinist. In his hands with the eight Glow Plugs to be used in the experimenting models. That is why these are named the concept 2 drawings. 4/26/2018 Product development (LENR) experimental concept-2

HE Wave Guide End View The Wave Guide end shares the same chamber bores as the hydrogen inlet fittings however on opposing ends of the HE block. The size of the wave guides we are using is 8mm diameter with threads cut to guides. 4/26/2018 Product development (LENR) experimental concept-2

HE Block cross section Top bore thermocouples, our models will have two thermocouples per bore (8) no longer than 1.25” long and .125” diameter for maximum O.D. (outside dimension). The thermocouple tips meet evenly spaced in the middle of the bores for redundancy and accuracy that can be verified in real time by a computer dashboard recorder. Left fittings .125” pipe. Please note pipe is sized from the inside dimension orifice so the 1/8” pipe would require a .250”+ bore for threads. Right Wave Guides 8mm spark plug thread. 4/26/2018 Product development (LENR) experimental concept-2

10 Please consider the alternative designs!
Crudest Example model #1 To this! Redneck example- No Way. 4/26/2018 Product development (LENR) experimental concept-2

12 Factual Basis for the Current Experimental Concept-2
Existing basic concept and design elements (Ni + H) to cause anomalous heat (thermal) energy. These are simply claims however, this is the first document I reviewed around a year ago when this story just broke news. 4/26/2018 Product development (LENR) experimental concept-2

14 Concept-2 design validation.
In reviewing what was available as information regarding the LENR history and evaluating current and ongoing information there were several facts regarding needs for design of the structural of a LENR reactor to experiment with in a way to progress forward in our research and development (R&D). 1. Safety regarding metal stress, the confinement of pressurized hydrogen and heat. 2. An assembled device and not the welded crude examples as seen in slide 10. 3. A shape that accommodates the fuel reactant and positions it within a definitive matrix of nodes used to calculate factual efficiency advances through an accepted geometric shape and repeatable in formulations. 4. Simplicity in manufacturing, the least complicated methods and tolerances. 5. Availability of the least expensive consumables for the Glow Plugs, fittings, tubing , Wave Guides, and hardware. 4/26/2018 Product development (LENR) experimental concept-2

15 Supporting design of the concept-2 multi (8) chamber HE
Contemplated advantages are specific geometry allowing for multiple testing chambers. This advantage comes when shifting into educational kits where a team of students work in one group for their advances, this also makes documenting progress more non-questionable. Also the HE will look symmetrical and not cobbled, a product must look like a customer is getting a safe reliable product. Simplicity of multiple support means for the HE itself. Please post (board) if there are any questions regarding this design, as soon as Randy receives the NDA’s and send’s them to me via to- I will convert them to a format for posting. As the NDA’s are received signed I will issue a user and password for access to the drawings. 4/26/2018 Product development (LENR) experimental concept-2
