3 CMBG History How CMBG was started First Nuclear Configuration Management Benchmarking conference held in Fall 1994 hosted by PP&L in Pennsylvania 17 US utilities represented each utility made a presentation about their Configuration Management program No motivational speeches by senior managers No sales promotions by service providers 7th CMBG Conference - September, 2000
