This is a dual view of a fetal spine. On the left a 2D image of a sagittal view of the spine is shown. The hand-drawn green line represents a curved scan plane corresponding to the rendered image of the spine on the right side. This image illustrates the point that in the rendered displays we would have to respect the normal contour of the anatomy (in this case the curvature of the fetal spine) by choosing the rendering tools that allow the user to render in curved planes.
