Payroll Packet: W-4 Withholding Immunization I-9 (INS Employment Eligibility Verification) Social Security Card & Driver’s License Direct Deposit 403 (b)-Optional Retirement – Purchasing Service Credit-Optional Variable Hours

5 Payroll Guidelines Check and Sign in with the building secretary upon arrival Check out before you leave and verify your hours Submission of green timesheets must be submitted to the building secretary Deadlines Substitute Online Sign In Logs and Timesheets are submitted to the building secretary on the last business day of the month Changes to payroll deductions and direct deposits is the 10th of the month to the Payroll Office

6 District Computer Access
Required – Signed Employee Electronic Use Agreement Policy 2022 and 2022P. Purpose – To be used as needed to perform substitute related duties while on campus. Does provide Internet Access and an individual network folder to save files. Will not provide access to the classroom teacher’s data or gradebook. Username – first initial, last name (e.g. mmouse). You are responsible to record and remember your selected password.

7 EMPLOYMENT APPLICATIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE.
Anyone interested in becoming a substitute may apply by submitting an online application at the Sequim School District website and clicking on Employment. Find application link: Sequim HrmPlus and follow instructions.

8 How do I get a sub job? Valorie Knieper– Human Resources Specialist/Substitute Coordinator

9 To manually check open jobs and update your calendar and personal information log in to subonline. Your user name is your last name and your password is your 5 digit employee number. Select HELP School District in the drop down “select district” box and click on log on. You will then view current announcements, if any, sent by the substitute specialist. From the current announcements screen you can move around in the system selecting open jobs, reviewing your personal information, and updating your calendar.

10 Your Calendar Personal calendar shows dates you are scheduled to work
Use toggle button to mark days you are unavailable to work Defaults to green (available days) Toggle to red (unavailable to work)

11 Review/Cancel This screen shows all jobs you have accepted for the current school year

12 How does “Sub OnLine” work?
Prearranged by the teacher Classified SpEd Paras Prearranged by Special Ed Secretary Classified Non SpEd Paras Prearranged by School Secretary Classified Custodial Subs Prearranged by Maintenance Coordinator Bus Driver/Aide Subs Prearranged by Dispatcher Manually check open jobs Easily access lesson plans/special instructions Last minute sub calls There are several different ways to be selected for substitute teaching jobs using subonline. The teacher can call and prearrange with you to work on a particular day and then enter the information in subonline when they enter their absence. The teacher can have you on their requested sub list, in which case you will receive an notifying you that you have been requested for a job. You then log in to subonline, click open jobs, and select the job if it is still available. Or you can click on open jobs any time to view available jobs and select the position you prefer to teach.
