Enterprise Based Training (EBT) a sustainable model for implementing (NTVQF) in Bangladesh, an in-house model for building a skilled workforce for Bangladesh garment factories.

3 The Enterprise Based Training (EBT)
The system of training established within factory premises to help companies meet the skills development needs of their workers and employees. Both employers and employees alike can benefit.

4 EBT factories creates opportunities:
Opportunities for helpers to become skilled workers. Existing workers is benefiting from the in-house facility to upgrade their skills Create opportunities for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) from experience and/or previous formal, non-formal and informal learning. New entrants can also take advantage of skills training through an apprenticeship programme.

5 EBT Resources providing by Factories:
2,500 square feet for setting up training lines. A separate space for conducting theoretical classes and an office. Sewing machines, tools and equipment. Office furniture. All CBT learning materials and teaching aids. Certified CBT trainers and assessors.

8 EBT RTO Training need under NTVQF:
Training needs to meet national standards. A Centre certified as a RTO by the BTEB. RTO allows enterprises to run NTVQF qualifications. Performance of trainees assessed by the external assessors, authorized by BTEB. Trainees have to pass an assessment to obtain certificates. EBT courses commonly last two months or the equivalent of 360 hours instruction.

9 CEBAI is established: CEBAI was established in 2014 to help meet the changing needs of the Bangladesh garment sector. CEBAI helps meet the need for a skilled labour force in the RMG sector by providing competency-based training. CEBAI is run by the BGMEA and supported by the ILO, Swedish government and H&M.
