Common Objections
“The cloud backs up my data”: O365 offers geo-redundancy, which ensures the availability of your data, but does not protect it from accidental or malicious deletion, corruption, viruses, or other threats.
“Archiving protects my data”: An Archive is just a separate location for your data. It is no more protected there than in the mailbox
“Litigation Hold protects my data”: Yes, but it is not designed to quickly and easily restore data. It requires expertise and time to setup and manage policies and to recover data (up to 6 hours of IT time) and does not restore data as it was where it was.
