3 Informed Visibility Overview
IV is a foundational real- time platform for mail and package information. IV leverages data to provide business intelligence for USPS functional groups and the mailing industry, providing:

4 IV Mail Tracking & Reporting Benefits
What does IV mean for your business? a data-powerhouse, providing mailers a one-stop shop for all their mail visibility needs conveniently track mailpieces (letters and flats), bundles, handling units, and containers in one, consolidated system IV Mail Tracking & Reporting focuses on giving mailers greater insight into their mailings. What does IV Mail Tracking & Reporting meant to for your business? IV consolidated mail tracking visibility into a single system. Today, mailers use IMb Tracing for piece visibility and PostalOne! for container and tray visibility. These existing tracking capabilities will be migrated to IV. (CLICK) powerful insight into the USPS mailstream mailers can more effectively plan and manage their mailings, thus increasing value to their customers

5 Informed Visibility® Mail Tracking & Reporting
Provides mailers visibility of letters and flats and their aggregates (bundles, handling units and containers) Informed Visibility® Mail Tracking & Reporting IMb Tracing for Pieces and Bundles Bundle Visibility Pilot PostalOne! Container and Tray Visibility Consolidates Mail Tracking into a Single System ***Animation Imbedded The Informed Visibility Mail Tracking & Reporting application, which is currently under development and a limited pilot, will provide visibility of letters, flats, bundles, handling units, containers, and transportation to mailers. One of the benefits of providing Mail Tracking & Reporting through IV is that it consolidates mail tracking into a single system. Today, mailers use IMb Tracing for piece visibility and PostalOne! for container and tray visibility. These existing tracking capabilities will be migrated to IV. Another benefit is that it provides better insight into the USPS mailstream by helping to fill in some of the visibility gaps. IV will leverage nesting associations to provide assumed handling events. When a mail aggregate, like a container, receives a scan, IV will create assumed handling events for all nested handling units, bundles and pieces. In addition, IV will provide new logical events, such as the Logical Delivery Event and Logical Out for Delivery Event. Another benefit of IV is that it is more flexible than the legacy systems. IV improves ease of user for customer by allowing them to obtain data how they want it, and allows mailers to have more options in how they delegate visibility of their mail to others.

9 Logical Delivery Events. For Mail Delivered On-street
1 2 3 Anticipated Date of Delivery (ADD) ZIP + 4 An inventory of mailpieces to be delivered is created based on the Last Processing Operation. The “Anticipated Date of Delivery” is created by comparing the scan time to the operation’s clearance time. Based on geo breadcrumbs, it is determined when a carrier enters a ZIP+4 geo fence. Informed Visibility 4 5 Logical Delivery Event ***Animation Imbedded This slide gives an overview of how the Logical Delivery Event process would work, based on mail being delivered on-street. First, we add the mailpiece to inventory for delivery based on the last processing operation. Second, we calculate the anticipated delivery date. Third, based on carrier scanning device geo breadcrumbs, we determine when the carrier enters a ZIP+4 geofence. Fourth, the Logical Delivery Event is generated. Fifth, IV provides the Logical Delivery Event to mailers. Looking on the bottom right, you see 8 houses, within two different ZIP+4’s, as indicated by the red boundaries. (CLICK) When a breadcrumb is received indicating that the carrier has entered the ZIP+4, then Logical Delivery Events are created for all mailpieces being delivered to addresses within that ZIP+4 A Logical Delivery Event is generated for mailpieces within the ZIP+4, that have an “Anticipated Date of Delivery” of today. This data is then sent to IV. IV provisions the Logical Delivery Events to mailers. Red boundaries represent the geo fence. Red dots represent the carrier entering the geofence.

10 Digital Reflection for Multi-Channel Marketing
Real-time Event-Driven Multi-Channel Marketing Mail Delivered Additional Info Sent Mail Moment ***Animation Imbedded This slide provides an example of how mailers can use Logical Delivery Events (LDEs) to support real-time, event-driven, multi-channel marketing. The mailpiece is delivered. IV generates a logical delivery event. IV sends the logical delivery event to the mailer. The mailer follows up with customer by sending an electronic communication, letting them know in near real-time that their mailpiece has been delivered, and encouraging them to take immediate action. Real-Time Data Received Mailer Notified Customer Conversion

11 IV Mail Tracking & Reporting Timeline
Thus far, we have the scope for three releases that will be deployed from February 2017 through spring 2017. These dates are contingent on the results of each pilot and are subject to change. Additional releases are still being planned for the remainder of FY2017. Additional releases for FY17 are still being planned. **Dates are contingent on pilot results.

17 Enterprise Analytics Mobile Applications (EAMA)
Overview and Value to Mailers

18 EAMA Overview EAMA is a mobile platform that enables real-time Visibility on trailers, containers, trays, bundles, or pieces for mail coming from Detached Mail Units (DMUs) Features include: Increased Visibility Enhanced Barcode Diagnostics Mail History Information Increases mail in measurement: Enables Trailer & Container scanning at DMU’s to enhance “Start the Clock” calculations. Improve DMU long haul mailer visibility resulting in increased mail in measurement.

19 EAMA Trailer Visibility Application Detached Mail Unit
Allows drivers to scan and send the 99T trailer, departure event, route/trip/leg & geo fencing information to USPS Capture & Confirm Departure Event – Mobile GeoFence assists to confirm departure and arrival When Driver Breaks Geo-Fence, Actual Departure/Arrival Time is Recorded. ***Animation Imbedded
