3 Upcoming Events/Meet Schedule
All swim team events, meets and announcements will be posted on the GPST website: The following are some key dates and schedule changes: Event Date Swim Team Registration Opens May 1, 2016 First Day of Practice( Returning Swimmers) May 31 Time Trials June 11th First B Meet Tilden GP June 14th First A Meet GP June 18th Team Pictures June 21st A Divisional Relay Robin Hood *Sunday – July 10th Raindate – July 11th

6 MCSL Officials Severe shortage of certified officials with current certifications 7 S&T – need 2 Referees- need 4-5 3 Starters- need 4-5 Without officials cannot run meets- Please encourage parents to sign up for clinics New officials will need to shadow/apprentice one event with a current official Re-imbursement for MSCL shirt ( officials must conform to MSCL policies on uniforms)

8 Volunteering Swim team needs parent volunteers to help run swim meets and team events To support 11 regular season Swim Meets ( 5 Home and 6 Away) requires ~1050 volunteer hours = 239 volunteer position to fill *Volunteer Requirements 1 Child = 3 swim meets 2 or more Children = 4 swim meets Volunteer Jobs Job Home Meets Away Meets Number Required Timers Ö 9 Head Timer 1 Asst Head Timer Clerk of the Course 2 Awards Verifier Food Sales Parking Attendant Announcer Computer Operator Referee Starter Stroke and Turn *Only regular season – Relay Carnivals, All Star Relays, Divisional meets are additional. If your child is swimming in these events then please plan on volunteering * Additional training and certification. Swim officials must have active certification through MCSL

10 Swim Meet Info Saturday A Meets Warm Ups ~8 AM Event 9 AM- 11 AM
Home Meets- Parking Rules enforced Team lunch after meet ends- invite visiting team to stay and lunch with us. Food trucks will stay after meet Wednesday B Meets Warm Ups Home Meets 4:30 PM Event 5:30PM – * 10 PM ( after 9 PM enforce reduce noise policy) for Home Meets Home Meets- Parking Rules enforced Pizza and Snack Sales
