acrylic ACRYLIC-are synthetic fibers made from a polymer with an average molecular weight of the polymer must contained least 85% acrylonitrile monomer, common monomer are vinyl acetate, methyl acrylate.

Toughened Acrylic Adhesives
They comprised essentially Hypalon rubber dissolved in methyl methacrylate monomer with a peroxide or hydroperoxide initiator. They were cured using an activator second-component, which was a crude mixture of dihydropyridines known as DuPont 808

Applications include fiberglass and sheet-steel bonding, magnets, loudspeakers, sporting goods, and miscellaneous metal and plastics assembly, Reactive acrylics are true structural adhesives with a wide range of particularly when fast curing with no surface preparation is desired

Epoxy adhesives Epoxy- created by polymerizing a mixture of two starting compound the resin and hardener epoxy glue, containing separate compartments for the epoxy resin and the hardener.

Structure of the highly reactive epoxide group present in all epoxy resins.

Epoxy adhesives are wide variety of materials and their properties are dependent upon the cross linking available. Some of the most important performance requirements include, chemical and heat resistance, excellent chemical and heat resistance, mechanical and electrical properties.

Epoxy adhesives are commonly offered as one component or two component systems.
One component systems generally cured at temperature between F, they are high strength, excellent adhesion and chemical resistance. Two component epoxy system differ in that catalyzation occur at ambient temperature and accelerated by heat. Are high temperature resistant and fast curing, flame retardant,
