They provide support and opportunities for Families to support their Children and help them become the best they can be. Their current services include: NACCC Registered Family Contact Centre: For parents apart from their children. DAISYchain: A parenting course for mums affected or concerned about domestic abuse. MAGPIES: Sessions for Mums Apart from their children to Gain Parenting Information & Emotional Support. Read For Life: An exciting project offering one-to-one FREE reading support to adults who want to develop their reading skills and get more out of life. Greenscape: Gardening DAY-CARE provider for adults with learning difficulties. Competitive rates . Room Hire from £10.00 Per Hour: Making business a pleasure, offering Meeting, Training, Contact and Consultation Room facilities. FREE ONSITE parking, kitchen and garden facilities. POP-UP Creche: They will bring their pop-up crèche to your chosen venue to support your planned event, training or celebration. Little Leaps Pre-School: Their very own onsite Nursery supporting children to learn, enjoy and achieve in their high quality, homely setting. They accept children from 2 to 5 years of age. LGBT AWARD The Practice has attained the GOLD Award for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, B-Sexual and Trans) for work undertaken including all staff attending a training session plus an assessment. Watch this space for the photograph following our formal presentation! Thinking of Going Abroad? If you are planning on going abroad make sure to book an appointment to see the Practice Nurse 8 weeks before departure if you need vaccinations – further information can be obtained from: Food Banks On average the Practice sends 5 bags of food each month donated by patients and staff to the local food bank in aid of the Trussell Trust Charity. In the past year the food bank fed 2343 adults and 1203 children in the Tameside area. Many thanks for your support – please keep up the good work.
