1. Design an insulated container which will prevent the creature from defrosting
to cover with a material that prevents or reduces the passage of heat

Bubble wrap

4. What variables did we keep the same?
One layer
Kept in the same place
All the pots were the same size the same amount of water was added before freezing
What variables did we change?
The material we used for insulation
How would we know which is the best insulating material?
The one which stays frozen for the longest will be the best insulation material.

5. Why did we have a control
Why did we have a control? We wanted to see what would happen with no insulation at all.   The ice in the control container melted before morning playtime. This was about 90 minutes.

6. Results The best insulating materials we used were wool and bubble wrap. The ice took over 5 hours to melt! If we create a container with both these materials it would certainly prevent the creature from defrosting!
