6. New report on improving mental health training for GPs and Practice nurses
Welcoming the report, Chair of our Mental Health Commissioners Network Dr Phil Moore highlighted the valuable work that GPs and practice nurses do to support patients mental health needs and said that we need to make sure that they get the training they need 'to feel fully confident in this, in the same way we do in respect of physical health problems

The study shows a GP intervention, taking just 30 seconds, can have a significant impact on a patient's' weight loss results and overall health outcomes.
