Surrey is situated 40 km east of Vancouver. It is the 2nd largest city in British Columbia, behind Vancouver, with a population over 500,000 people. We average 7 snowy days as compared to 170 rainy days. Our average snowfall per year is 38 cm or 15 inches.
In Canada we don’t get a lot of snow. once in a while we get a bit of snow. It isn’t very deep. However we do get frost. When it does snow we build a snowman.

In Canada we sometimes get some snow. But not all the time. Once me, my sister and my dad made a snowman. It was big and in the afternoon we went tobogganing and after that my mom made us some hot chocolate.

Winter is a cold time icicles hang and some people get frostbit because it is so cold! Don’t forget to bundle up and be sure to be bold. Up on the mountain people are skiing and making sure that they don’t get too freezing.
