3 Irregular verbs Irregular verbs are those verbs which do not follow the usual rules for verb form,also known as a strong verb. Irregular verbs are those verbs which do not follow the normal rules of conjugation in English.

4 Irregular verbs Irregular verbs do not always add “ed” at the end and may have different forms. Here is a list of irregular verbs showing any variation from the regular formation.

6 Irregular verbs Irregular verbs do not follow a pattern in the simple past tense like regular verbs do... They are very different. You can’t simply add “ed” to the verb to show action in the past tense.

I ran to school. I ran in the morning. No “ed” add at the end of the verb
