2 Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14
Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14. It is a traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending greeting card, presenting flowers and sweets.

3 Valentine's Day is a new holiday in our country
Valentine's Day is a new holiday in our country. People from different countries celebrate this holiday in different ways.

4 Italy According to a legend, St. Valentine's Day originates in Italy. People called it the Day of Spring and Love. It is accepted to give candies, chocolate, spirits, roses and diamonds. Also popular gift in Italy is Baci Perugina. It is the small nuts covered with chocolate. There is a note with the statement on a love subject.

5 Great Britain British congratulate favourite people and favourite pets. They give each other sweets in the form of hearts and soft toys. In the UK favourite gifts are Teddy bears and cards.

6 Denmark In Denmark people give the dried white flowers as a gift.

7 Germany In Germany St. Valentine is considered the patron of brain sick people. In honor of a holiday Germans decorate hospitals with scarlet ribbons and churches hold special church services.

8 Japan Japan has the most original celebration of St. Valentine's Day. On this day men get presents. Girls give various man's accessories and chocolate. There are two kinds of chocolate “giri-choco” and “hon-mei”. They give “giri-choco” to their friends, relatives and colleagues, and “hon-mei” to darlings. In a month men and women swap places.

9 Russia In our country has two days of all lovers. It is St. Valentine's Day and Pyotr and Fevroniya's day. Russians give each other flowers, candies, toys, balloons and cards on St. Valentine's Day.

10 Maybe it means something more, something we can't yet understand
Maybe it means something more, something we can't yet understand. Maybe it's some evidence, some artifact of a higher dimension that we can't consciously perceive. I'm drawn across the universe to someone I haven't seen in a decade who I know is probably dead. Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space. Maybe we should trust that, even if we can't understand it yet. Interstellar
