We are reframing the radon policy question. We’ve saved the State Indoor Radon Grants for 4 years in a row. As they say in the movie: FOLLOW THE MONEY. 4 years in a row EPA budget eliminates SIRG We are Still Working to Secure Funding for State Radon Programs AARST Spends Considerable Effort Defending SIRG EPA and Traditional Allies of EPA are not pleased that we’ve saved SIRG Why is it important? 80% of the State Radon Offices would close. There would be no public “boots on the ground.” The credibility of radon professionals would be destroyed. In addition: EPA technical expertise is VERY limited.
