3. Mandatory Labelling Requirement
Every dealer shall affix a label to a regulated machine in a conspicuous and unobstructed place before putting such regulated machinery on display for sale. Enforcement date: July 01, 2017

8. Dealer Dealer means a retailer or other person who:
imports or displays regulated machinery;
sells, hires or offers to hire regulated machinery to any person.

9. Responsibility of Importers/Distributors towards Resellers
Provide the original or certified true copy of test report
Provide sufficient number of labels

10. Existing Stocks
To sell the existing stocks of regulated machineries within a period of 9 months from the date of coming into operation of the regulations, i.e by end March OR Register the appliances with EEMO & affix a label

11. Enforcement Enforcement officers from EEMO Offence-
by reseller : fine not exceeding Rs 100,000
by importer : fine not exceeding Rs 100,000
any other offence : fine not exceeding Rs 100,000
