3 R’s
RESPECT, RESPONSIBLE AND READY
The 3 R’s are a focus of the Preschool. We encourage the students the importance of proper behavior and safety. The 3R’s we would like for the parents to help us model are: Responsible by being prepared and returning required paper work. Ready by being at school on time and picked up on time; Respectful by acting and dressing appropriately.

8. Bus Riders
All bus students must have a bus information form completed and turned in to the bus driver.
If your child needs to go to a different address by bus in the afternoon, please send a note with your child to school. Please make sure the address has been approved by transportation. ALL NEW LOCATIONS MUST BE APPROVED A DAY PRIOR.
All Preschool students are tagged EACH DAY he/she rides the school bus. PLEASE ASSIST US BY NOT CALLING DURING THE DAY TO MAKE A BUS CHANGE. This stops instruction, as teachers or teacher assistants have to stop teaching to go make student tags. Please be considerate of student learning. Also, be mindful of where your child will go on the bus each afternoon.
If you would like your child to be changed from a bus rider to a car rider, please call by 1:15 P.M. to assure that teachers are aware not to tag your child for the bus.
Please do not pull your child from the bus line during afternoon bus loading time. All preschool students are checked off from a roster to show that they are on the school bus.
Students MUST follow school bus rules in order to provide safety for self and others.

9. Car Rider Safety
Please park in the rear of the school and walk students on sidewalk in morning and afternoons for arrival and dismissal. We ask that you DO NOT PARK IN THE STAFF PARKING LOT AND CROSS THE STREET WITH CHILDREN during arrival/dismissal. ALSO, DO NOT PARK ON LONGSTREET OR ACROSS LONGSTREET TO PICK UP OR DROP OFF CHILDREN. This is an extreme safety issue due to oncoming traffic.
Wait for staff member to get your child out of the car in mornings and put your child in each afternoon. There is no need for you to get out of your vehicle…as we are of service to you! 
If no adult is present outside to get your child out of the car in the morning (after 7:30), your child is late! You will need to walk in with your child, report to main office, sign your child in as tardy, obtain a visitor pass, and take your child to classroom or cafeteria. If at all possible, PLEASE TRY TO AVOID TARDINESS, BECAUSE THE DOORS LOCK AT 7:30! After this time, it requires our secretary to leave office assignments to constantly open door due to late arrivals.
An adult, 18 years or older, must sign children in/out. Please do not send underage children to sign in/out students.
When you enter building to visit, please report to the main office for a visitor sticker. NO ADULTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO VISIT CLASSROOMS WITHOUT A VISITOR PASS.
Please make sure your child is buckled in and in proper car seat upon arrival in mornings and prior to leaving campus at dismissal.
If at all possible, please have your child exit the passenger side of car in the morning due to buses coming through.
If picking up a child early prior to 1:15, please remain in the center of hall until child is brought to you by a staff member. After 1:15, remain on the sidewalk outside.
REMINDER: Please abide by state laws in regards to drop off and pick up. (i.e. children in proper seats and buckled, and do not pass school buses at drop off or pick up)

11. Preschool Main Entrance (if after 7:30, please use doorbell to the right of the door)
Children should NEVER be SENT to this door ALONE for morning drop off. If school personnel is not outside during morning drop off, you are LATE and students MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE BUILDING BY AN ADULT.
