These snapshots, then, may not show all of the surface deformations that occurred in the full video sequence. Likewise, some expressions, like agreement and disagreement, require particular motions that cannot be depicted in a single snapshot. Thus, while certain surface deformations may not be visible in these pictures (e.g., eyebrow raising for surprise), these motions may have been present on a different frame in the full sequence or have been performed by the other actors/actresses (which is indeed the case for eyebrow motion).
