18 University Based on movies, TV, and books, talk about how this university (SWUST) is different from how you thought university life would be. How is it the same as you expected? If you could attend another university for a semester, what would you look for in your ideal university?

19 Get into groups of 3 or 4 In a group, talk about what you would change at SWUST to improve it. What does SWUST do well? How could things be better for students? Is there a way for students to improve the university they attend? What can students do to make the university experience more positive?

20 One last thing . . . In China, how do you address a teacher? Do you call them by their family names or by their given names? In America, just like in China, it is rude to call a teacher by his or her given name unless the teacher requests that you do so. Emory is my family name. It is not my given name. You should not just call me Emory. You can call me Ms. Emory, Professor Emory, or address me as teacher (though in English, this sounds strange).
