2. What is an action verb?
A verb is one of the most important parts of the sentence. A verb that shows action is called an action verb.

13. SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
We use simple present tense to talk about an action that is repeated or usual.

14. Yo como, tu comes, ellos comen etc…
Verbs in Spanish change their form according the pronoun (or noun) that they are used with.
Example: Comer
Yo como, tu comes, ellos comen etc…

15. However; in English we use the same word for each pronoun, except for HE, SHE and IT. With those pronouns we must add a “S”.

16. She sings romantic songs. They sing romantic songs.
Examples:
She sings romantic songs.
They sing romantic songs.

17. They play with a ball
He plays with a ball

18. For the negative form we use Do Not (Don´t) for I, You, We, They and Does Not (Doesn´t) for He, She and It.

19. That is to say:
I You We They
Do not (don`t)
He She It
Does not (doesn`t)

20. Examples:
They don´t live in La Ligua.

21. She doesn´t sing cuecas. He doesn´t drive a race car.

22. She doesn´t eat healthy food.
Homer doesn´t drink milk.

23. For the interrogative form we just use Do for I, You, We, They and Does for He, She and It at the beginning of the sentence.

24. Examples:
Do they eat junk food?
Does Ivan Zamorano play soccer?

25. Do they run in a marathon?
Does the cat eat fish?
