Today we will learn about probability so that we can predict an outcome or several events using a probability line. We’ll know we’ve got it when we can express probability using fractions, decimals or percentages.

4. What is Probability? It’s the possibility that an event will happen
Probability has a value of 0 to 1
0 = impossibility
1 = certainty

It is just as likely to pull a black card as a red card
It is impossible to pull a card with a value greater than 13
It is just as likely to pull a heart, diamond, spade or club
It is less likely to pull a face card than a number card
