1 Patt Morrison: A Look into her Posts in November of 2015
Reporter and columnist for the Los Angeles Times – winner of 2 Pulitzer prizes for her work with the paper A Look into her Posts in November of 2015

2 Background Morrison was born in 1952. She’s from Utica, Ohio.
She graduated from Occidental College in 1974. Not only does she work as a columnist for the Los Angeles Times, but also the KPCC radio host. She’s “a regular commentator on National Public Radio's ‘Morning Edition.’” Morrison has also published a bestselling book on the Los Angeles River. She’s famous for her hats; she always is seen wearing a hat coordinated with her outfit. She even has a vegetarian hotdog named after her!

3 Her Specialty: Like I said previously, Morrison’s work can be found in numerous places, including in the Los Angeles Times, multiple radio stations, television shows, and even in libraries! She works as both a columnist and a reporter for the LA Times, and is a talk show host for many radio stations, including the Southern California Public Radio (89.3 KPCC). At one point in her career, she had her own television show.

4 Topics from November Throughout this month, Patt Morrison has a covered a myriad of topics, ranging from Orca whales protection to prostitution. The ones that I covered include the following: helicopter parenting, Orca protection, and prostitution. Each of them were interviews with experts: the helicopter parenting one with Julie Lythcott-Haims, the Orca protection one with Dayna Bochco, and Melissa Farley for the prostitution one.

5 Political Affiliation
Patt Morrison’s political affiliation seems to be fairly centered, however, slightly left-leaning. This conclusion can be drawn based on the topics that she reports on, animal rights and fighting prostitution just to name a few. However, she addresses multiple perspectives in her articles about her topics, which also happens to be a clever writing tactic.

6 Patt Morrison: Definitely a Reputable Source
Although Morrison’s recent posts have been transcribed reports, she always asks questions that take into account a conflicting opinion. This makes her work especially credible, because she ensures that the interviewee always addresses a counter argument. Morrison also has pre-established credibility, due to her extensive background in journalism, and numerous award-winning pieces.
