1 I Have! Who Has?

2 RULES 1. You must keep the card given to you.
2. The game only works if everyone is listening and only one person reads their card at a time. 3. You cannot read your card until the person ahead of you completely finishes theirs. 4. Each round you should be getting faster and faster!

3 HOW TO PLAY 1. The card with the STAR is first. The cards are read in a specific order and are designed to review terms and concepts. 2. Each card begins with a statement, “I HAVE…” and ends with a question, “WHO HAS… 3. The last card will end with asking the question that connects it with the first card. 4. The first card responds with the “I have” statement and then the round is done!

4 For example… 1. Card 1: I have January! Who has the month that Thanksgiving is in? 2. Card 2: I have November! Who has the month that we celebrate Valentines Day? 3. Card 3: I have February! Who has the month that we celebrate New Years Day? CARD 1: I have JANUARY! That was simple, but there are going to be more cards when you play! And remember the cards weren’t passed out in order!

5 One more example… Card 1: I have 12:00, Who has thirty-five minutes until 4:00? Card 2: I have 3: 25! Who has half past 7:00? Card 3: I have 7:30! Who has fifteen minutes until 9? Card 4: I have 8:45! Who has seven minutes until 11:00? Card 5: I have 10:53! Who has twelve minutes past 6? Card 6: I have 6:12! Who has 4 hours from now? Card 7: I have 10:12! Who has 1 hour and 48 minutes from now? Card 1: I have 12:00…and the timer stops! The next round should go faster and faster!

6 Now let’s play with PERSONALITY TERMS!
1. You received a card when you came into class. 2. Read it. READ IT AGAIN. Make sure you can clearly read your card aloud to the class. 3. Who has card with the star on it? You’re first. When you’re ready, you’ll clearly but quickly read it in your best teacher voice. 4. Someone will have card 2 (remember they aren’t numbered…what fun would that be?!) and they will respond to your question….! 5. When the cards go all the way around, the star card will have to finish the round by reading the “I have” portion of your card. 6. You’re done! How did you do?!
