NTT DATA developed a mobile presentation sharing application in HTML5, jQuery and CSS3, optimized for all mobile platforms incorporating zoom/pinch features, dynamic scrolling, and offline capabilities. The solution included a presentation builder and an advanced search integrated with Google Maps. DDR Corp. DDR Corp. is a publicly traded real estate investment trust that owns and manages value- oriented, open-air retail shopping centers, or "power centers" in the United States mainland and Puerto Rico. Business Challenge Solution Results DDR Corp. shares presentations with potential tenants and internal clients on properties during meetings, conferences and other events. These materials include merged pdf with bookmark, marketing collateral, site plans, property summary report, redevelopment plans etc. These are all put together in one giant pdf file and shared via , then printed to be handed out in person. To make this a more efficient and effective process, DDR wanted to build a presentation web app that will: (a) Allow DDR resources to configure the presentation that needs to be shared with prospects and clients (b) Generate a slick presentation based on this configuration that can be easily viewed on mobile devices on demand. This functionality should be mobile device agnostic and be viewable on all iPad versions, browsers and kiosks. Completed a series of extensive requirements gathering sessions to effectively articulate the visual expectations on the various platforms. Developed the Presentation app in HTML5, jQuery and CSS3, optimized for mobile platforms incorporating zoom/pinch, dynamic scrolling and offline capabilities. The solution includes a Presentation Builder, and Advanced Search integrated with Google Maps. DDR now has a greatly improved presentation process, resulting in an efficient device agnostic interface, allowing instant access to all center collateral and unit data Adopted NTT DATA as go-to solution partner and re-engaged to improve Search capabilities and display results on Google Maps Integrated Paperless Presentation app to query and update Salesforce.com data via Salesforce.com's SOAP API and Cast Iron integration appliance. 5 More Details DDR Corp. owns, manages and develops a large portfolio of shopping centers. DDR is also one of NTT DATA’s Platinum reference customers and has re-engaged us for follow-on work with two new projects: Square Footage Customization and Workflows Custom Cloud: Visualforce configuration and Apex coding. Project Summary: DDR has engaged NTT DATA to create a customization to their existing SFDC implementation. Currently there are only manual processes in place to complete change orders on square footage, which is time consuming, paper-intensive and difficult to track. Anticipated value: increase user adoption of SF, online visibility into square footage changes, system of record, improved ability to manage the properties across cross-functional departments including Sales, Leasing, Accounting, and Legal. DDR Financial Calculator Custom Cloud - complex Java code and integration to existing Lease Management System. Project Summary: DDR has engaged NTT DATA to replace the current Financial Calculator which is integrated with DDR Corp’s Lease Management System with one that is implemented in Salesforce. Anticipated value: the ability for DDR Corp. users to perform Financial Calculator updates in LMS using this new functionality which will function from Salesforce. It will eliminate the need to use Citrix for their users to access and work with the Financial Calculator.
