2 Search and Seizure Searches and seizures cannot be unreasonable
They must be supported by probable cause Reasonably clear, articulable facts must support belief that items are present

3 Terry v. Ohio Terry stop: A short stop and quick search of a person based upon a police officer’s reasonable suspicion that criminal activity may be afoot Terry allows police to pat down the outer clothing of the person to check for weapons This is sometimes called “stop and frisk”

4 Fingerprints and Mug Shots
Police now can take fingerprints and mug shots of juvenile detainees
