3. I will recount the Lord’s faithful acts;
   I will sing the Lord’s praises,

   for God’s great favor toward the house of Israel.

7. Luke 1:39-45
 Mary got up and hurried to a city in the Judean highlands.  She entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 

8. With a loud voice she exclaimed, “God has blessed you above all women, and he has blessed the child you carry. Why do I have this honor, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?  As soon as I heard your greeting, the baby in my womb jumped for joy.  Happy is she who believed that the Lord would fulfill the promises he made to her.”

12. The true light that shines on all people
   was coming into the world John 1:9
God said, “Let there be light.” And so light appeared. God saw how good the light was. God separated the light from the darkness Genesis 1:3-4
The people walking in darkness have seen a great light.
   On those living in a pitch-dark land, light has dawned. Isaiah 9:2

14. Happy are they who believe that the Lord will fulfill the promises made to them.
